Faugères and wine

Faugeres house

Faugères Cottage

Faugères is in the Languedoc, close to the Mediterranean coast of France, roughly halfway between the Rhône and the Spanish border, about fifteen miles north of Béziers and five miles south of Bédarieux.

The Languedoc includes a large slice of France's Mediterranean coast and has many historical gems within easy reach, ranging from the Roman remains in Nîmes to the Cathar castles and fortified Templar towns.

We had a share in a village house for 25 years but have recently sold it to friends. It is still available for rent - for more information see www.faugeres.co.uk/
